William Glenn "Polar Bear" Russell

William Glenn "Polar Bear" Russell, of Middleton, departed this life on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.  He was 64 years, 3 months and 12 days of age.

Born to the late Simmie Lee Russell and Virgil Abigail Durham Russell, Mr.  Russell was a retired fork-lift driver for Thyssen-Krupp Elevator in Middleton where he worked for 30 years.  On October 28, 1983, he married Vickie Denise McKee, who survives and, was a member of Porter's Creek Baptist Church.  He was a life-long resident of Hardeman County and enjoyed fishing in his spare time.

In addition to his wife of over 40 years, he leaves his daughter, Brittney Russell of Luxora, AR; his son, Cameron Russell of Middleton; two sisters, Pansy Baker of Bolivar and Pat (Mickey) Young of Alamo, TN; and two brothers, Roy (Satha) Russell of Ocala, FL and Johnny Russell of Middleton.

He was preceded in death, also, by a sister, Janny Russell; and a brother, Michael Russell.
