William Monroe "Bill" Jackson

William Monroe (Bill) Jackson was born June 9, 1946 in Ramer, TN the son of the late Marshall Jay Jackson and Julia Bright Jackson.
Bill was united in marriage to Melba Fay Clayton on April 6, 1968. He served our country during the Korean War. He was a member of the Antioch Church of Christ in Ramer, Tennessee. Bill worked over 40 years with Dement Construction Company. He was an avid fisherman and loved his family.
Mr. Jackson departed this life on November 2, 2020 in Corinth, Mississippi at the age of 74 Years, 4 Months, 24 Days.
He is survived by his wife, Melba Jackson of Ramer, TN; two daughters, Kim Petty and husband Todd of Ramer, TN, Jennifer Sipes of Jackson, TN; four grandchildren: Sara Nixon and husband Corey of Selmer, TN, Caitlin Knight and husband Cody of Selmer, TN, Allie McCullar and husband Clay of Selmer, TN, Jackson Petty of Ramer, TN; 6 Great Grandchildren; a brother, Buddy Jackson of Selmer, TN; a sister, Fay Waldon of Walnut, MS; close friend, Kevin Porterfield; and a host of nieces and nephews.
