William Irvin Jones

William Irvin Jones departed this life on January 1, 2015 at his home in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 69 Years, 3 Months, 7 Days. He was born September 25, 1945 in Waynesboro, TN the son of the late Cornelius Eugene and Marie West Jones. In addition to his parents, Mr. Jones was preceded in death by ; grandson; Justin Kelley, brothers, Jackie Jones and Charles (Charlie) Jones, sisters, Clara Jones Floyd, Joyce Jones, and Margie Nell Maples. He was united in marriage to Lisa Boyd on March 27, 1990. Irvin was retired from Murray Ohio as a line worker and correctional officer at Tennessee Department of Corrections. He was a member of the Green River Tabernacle and Masonic Lodge #127.

He is survived by his wife Lisa Boyd Jones of Waynesboro, TN; sons, Jeffery William Jones of Waynesboro, TN and Rocky Duran Jones of Nashville, TN, daughter, Carolyn Gwen Jones Holt ; step son; Jamie Lynn and step daughter Dalanna Michelle Lynn all of Waynesboro, TN, grandchildren; Glen, Addy, Easton, and Miranda Lynn and Paxton Hensley all of Waynesboro, TN,
brothers, Roy E. Jones of Waynesboro, TN, James Frank Jones of Lawrenceburg, TN, Robert Jones ; Jerry Jones ; Randall Jones and Brent Jones ; sisters, Betty J. Melson, Margaret Jones, and Debbie Lineberry all of Waynesboro, TN.

Services will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Home in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Bobby Pinckley and Larry Janes officiating. Masonic rites will be given. Burial will follow in Shields Cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be on Friday, Jan. 2, 5:30--9:00 pm and on Saturday, Jan. 3, 8:00 am until service time @ Shackelford Funeral Home, Waynesboro,TN

Pallbearers are Daryl Murphy, Terry Dickey, Michael Thompson, Buddy Smith, Kendall Boucher, and Daryll Petty, honorary pallbearers are Kenny Brewer and Jack Vandergriffe.
