William Buford Kilburn

William Buford Kilburn of Waynesboro, TN was born October 1, 1932 in Wayne Co., TN, the son of the late James Frank and Ollie Creecy Kilburn. He was united in marriage to Mary Pauline Stockard on May 9, 1953.

Mr. Kilburn was a retired maintenance worker after 40+ years at Genesco in Waynesboro, TN and a farmer and departed this life on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, Tennessee at the age of 83 Years, 3 Months, 12 Days.

He is survived by his wife, Pauline Stockard Kilburn; a daughter, Mary Frances Smith and husband, Jasper; sisters, Ida Dean Brewer and companion, Jr. Keeton, Irene Hicks and husband, Marvin and Betty Lou Daniel and husband, Richard; grandchildren, Melissa Davis and husband, Jarrod and Brad Smith all of Waynesboro, TN and Chad Hollingsworth of Lexington, AL and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Kilburn was preceded in death by a son, Tony William Kilburn; a brother, James Loyd Kilburn and a sister, Imogene Luna.

Services will be Saturday, January 16, 2016 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel, Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Danny Huckaba officiating. Burial will follow in the Gallaher Cemetery, Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County directing. Pallbearers will be Chad Hollingsworth, Brad Smith, Rickey Daniel, Wayne Hicks, Bill Luna and Keith Luna.

Visitation will be Friday, January 15, 2016 from 5 pm to 8 pm and Saturday, January 16, 2016 from 11 am until service time at 3 pm at the funeral home.
