Graveside services for William Thomas Long, Sr. of Campbell, California, formerly of Wayne County, will be 3:00 PM Saturday, January 16, 2010 at Walnut Grove Cemetery near Waynesboro with William Thomas Long, Jr. officiating. Interment following services with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.Mr. Long, a native of Tennessee, was born September 12, 1943 to the late Amos and Lula Crawley Long. Mr. Long departed this life Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at the home of his son in Newark, California at the age of 66 Years, 3 Months, 11 Days. He was a beautician.He is survived by a son, William Thomas Long Jr. of Newark, CA; a granddaughter, Chloe Carrington; three brothers, Amos Long Jr. and Joe Long both of Waynesboro, TN, and Franklin D. Long of Lawrenceburg, TN; three sisters, Blanche Coeuille of Milbrac, CA, Frankie Skelton and Aileen Pulley both of Waynesboro, TN.
