William L. McMullen, Sr., 92, of Adamsville, Tennessee died Saturday October 3, 2020.
He was born May 28, 1928, in Memphis, Tennessee to Cecil L. and Blanche Sorrell McMullen. He was married October 25, 1957, to Dolores Nixon McMullen.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son Bill (Kathy) and daughter Jeri Gail McMullen; grandchildren Katy, Tricia, Trevor, and Zach; nieces Diana (Tom) Sumpter and Donna Brewington; and sister-in-law Jerry (Frank) Beach.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death his sister and brother-in-law Gail and Howard Johnson.
Prior to moving to Adamsville, Mr. McMullen retired from Gilbert/Commonwealth in Jackson, Michigan. He was a member of Crump United Methodist Church for many years.
In keeping with health recommendations, a small family memorial service is planned. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that gifts be given to Crump United Methodist Church or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
