Mr. Mosier died Sunday, August 14 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
The husband of Martha Mosier, who survives, he worked as a heavy equipment operator in construction. He was born January 1, 1943, in Chester County, son of the late James Arbie Mosier and Annie Irene Davis Mosier and moved to Hardeman County in 1966. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed farming. He served in the US Air Force for 2 years and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife, whom he married in May of 1962, survivors include three daughters and their spouses, Lisa Gail Sisco (Joe) of Medon, Linda Elaine Thompson (Michael) of Humboldt and Angela Dawn Wood (Kevin) of Darden; a son, Roger Neal Mosier of Medon; two sisters, Shirley Patten of Medon and Ann Helton of Medon; a brother, Ronnie Mosier of Bethel Springs; nine grandchildren, Rebecca Thompson, Mary Kaitlyn Thompson, Anna Marie Thompson, Wesley Thompson, Chelsa Phillips, Krista Wood, Brent Wood, Derrick Mosier and Justin Mosier; and two great grandchildren, Weston Blankenship and Gage Phillips. He was preceded in death by a son, William Lynn Mosier; a brother, James Gerald " Bup" Mosier; and a grandchild, Beth Ann Thompson.
