William Lee Pope

William Lee Pope of Clifton, TN was born January 22, 1950 in Lewis Co., TN, the son of the late Grady Lee and Ocie Mae Horner Pope. Mr. Pope was a farmer and departed this life on Thursday, June 11, 2020 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 70 Years, 4 Months, 20 Days.

He is survived by daughters, Brenda Lee Follansbee, husband, Chris and Kristie Pope all of Savannah, TN; sons, Gary Lineberry, fiancee, Lysa Williams and children of Waynesboro, TN and Kevin Reeves of Alabama; sisters, Nola Mae (Pope) Reddin of Selmer, TN and Mary Sue Pope of Obion Co, TN; nieces, Katie Sue Pope Dixon of Savannah, TN and Dixie Pope Shoffner of Jacksonville, FL; the mother of his children, Mary Frances Coleman of Clifton, TN and a host of great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.

Services will be held on Sunday, June 14, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Old Union Community Church, Waynesboro, Tennessee. Burial will follow in Bauchum Cemetery, Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County assisting the family.

Pallbearers will be Jesse Boyd, Dennis Davis, Benny Davis, Tommy Overton, Gary Lineberry and Kristie Pope.

Visitation begins at 4 pm on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at the church until service time.
