WILLIAM A. PRINCE
Henderson, TN: William Arthur Prince, age 73 passed away Friday morning February 21, 2014 at his home.
He was born March 4, 1940 in Rienzi, MS and grew up in North Mississippi and Tennessee the son of the late W.R. (William Rutherford) and Mary Lee Rinehart Prince. He graduated from East High in Nashville and entered the Air Force out of High School and served twenty eight months during the Vietnam hardship. He married Karen Timmons in 1965. They made their home in Covington, Nashville and Henderson.
He served as an aircraft mechanic in the TN National Guard for twenty years, retiring in 2000. He was a member of the Grace Baptist Church.
Mr. Prince is survived by a son, William A. Prince, II of Navarre, FL and a daughter, Angela Karen Prince Jackson of Henderson; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren; three brothers, Richard W. Prince of Adamsville, Tommy Prince of Henderson and Charles Prince of Las Vegas and three sisters, Shirley Evans of Springfield, TN, Jane Wicker of Jackson and Kathy Gately of Henderson.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Karen Timmons Prince October 2013 and a grandchild, Nicci Hollenback.
Memorial services will be 3:00 PM Friday, February 28, 2014 at Grace Baptist Church with Eric Martin and Frank Evans officiating and burial will be in Unity Cemetery at a later date.
The family will receive friends at Grace Baptist Church beginning at 1:00 PM Friday until service time.
