William Stovall

Henderson, TN: William David Stovall, age 81, passed away February 6, 2010 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
He was born in McNairy County and grew up in Chester County the Glendale Community the son of the late Leonard David Stovall and Lizzie Luna Bain Stovall Messer. He attended schools in Chester County. He was married to Ramelle Cash in 1950. They made their home in Henderson until 1961 when they moved to the Glendale Community. Mr. Stovall was employed by Quality Mfg. and Henderson Tool and Die from 1961 until he retired in 1996. He had farmed all of his life. He was a member of the Chester County Farm Bureau and a member of the Holly Springs United Methodist Church.
He is survived by a son, Larry Stovall and wife Sharon of Henderson; a daughter, Betty Keith and husband Bill of Bartlett; one granddaughter, Amanda Bartholomew and husband Kevin and two great grandchildren, Aja and Harper; a brother, Charles Stovall and wife Clessie of Henderson and three half sisters, Micki Foshee of Bartlett, Jane McDurmon of Grenado, MS and Linda Gould of Orlando, FL.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ramelle Cash Stovall in 1993; a brother, Bill Stovall and a sister, Martha Cupples.
