Willie Davis

Willie Daviswas a born in Hardin County, Tennessee on December 28, 1930 the son of the late Gaston and Cordie Clausel Davis.On October 30, 1949 he was united in marriage to Wanda Grace Pugh, who survives.Mr. Davis retired from Kolpak where he was a Glue Booth Operator, he had previously worked for Century-Gould for 11 years. He was a member of the Cherry Grove Pentecostal Church where he was the Pastor since 1978. He enjoyed singing, fishing, hunting, and preaching.Mr. Davis departed this life on December 20, 2010 at the age of 79 years, 11 months, 22 days.In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Dollie Davis Hollin and husband Jerry of Enville, Tennessee; a granddaughter, Bessica Alexander Wyatt; a great granddaughter, Leanna Grace Wyatt; a brother, H.H. Davis of Jackson, Tennessee.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 5 brothers and 8 sisters.
