Willie Pearl Wheeler

Willie Pearl Eaves Wheeler was delivered by the hands of her great grandmother on May 31, 1931 in Michie, TN. She was the daughter of the late Clarence Alexander and Maggie Farris Eaves. She departed this life on December 27, 2019 in Memphis, Tennessee at the age of 88 Years, 6 Months, 27 Days.

Willie Pearl knew what hard work was as she began working on a farm at a young age. She graduated from Michie High School in 1950. She married Raymond Victor Nabors in January of 1951.

In 1959, she got her beautician license and taught/managed 5 beauty schools in Virginia for many years. She taught over 130 students and she was extremely good at her job. In 1969 she married William Wheeler. They moved to her home town of Michie, TN. In 1974 Willie Pearl opened up Wheeler and Nabors Beauty Academy in Savannah, TN. After William passed in 1988, she began working at School of Hair Design in Savannah. She retired after 30 years as a beautician.

Willie Pearl loved taking care of her big, loving family. She cooked, cleaned, worked hard, enjoyed dancing, crocheting and playing the computer. "I had a wonderful life; no matter what was happening, my family and I were always happy." That is how Willie Pearl reflected upon her life, with a smile.

She is survived by five sons: Randy Nabors and wife Linda, Ricky Nabors, Bobby Nabors and wife Fredda, Bryan Wheeler and wife Karen, Patrick Wheeler and wife Windy; twelve grandchildren: Kimberly Hawn and husband Paul, Jamie Marolf, Brandon Nabors and wife Alicia, Dana Seaton and husband Timbo, Destiny Nabors, Jacob Nabors, Josh Wheeler and wife Beth, Erin Wiginton and husband Corey, Corey Bagwell, Santana Price and husband Jesse, Mason Lumley, Zach Wheeler; eighteen great grandchildren: Malorie and Addilyn Hawn, Lauryn and Kaylee Tabolt, Ava and Evie Nabors, Trae and Tallie Seaton, Madison Nabors, Rylee Harville, Talyn Nabors, Noah Willoughby, Blayne and Ivy Wiginton, Gabriel Wheeler, Kori, Kara and Brylen Price; and a great great grandchild, Colson Tucker.

In addition to her parents and husbands, Mrs Wheeler was preceded in death by two sisters, Peggy Dean Bickley and Mable Ashe.
