WILLODEAN CLAYTON
Finger, TN: Willodean Kirkpatrick Clayton age 87 passed away Monday morning May 22, 2017 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
She was born March 17, 1930 in McNairy County, the daughter of the late Homer M. and Cora B. Pusser Kirkpatrick. She went to school at Finger and was married to Murray Clayton in 1948. He preceded her in death in 1963. Mrs. Clayton was a mother and homemaker. She was a member of the Finger Church of Christ. She enjoyed reading her Bible and working crossword puzzles.
Mrs. Clayton is survived by two daughters, Shelia Betscher of Henderson, TN and Cheryl Clough of Finger; grandchildren, Sonya Inman, Jennifer Chandler, Christopher Betscher and Deneise McGillen; five great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild; a brother, James E. Kirkpatrick of Finger and a sister-in-law, Marrianne Kirkpatrick of Finger.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Anthony Martin.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Johnson Chapel with Earl Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in Finger Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Johnson Chapel 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Tuesday.
