Willodean Staggs

Willodean Wilson Staggs of Waynesboro, TN, formerly of the Southgate community, was born August 28, 1922 in Iron City, TN, the daughter of the late Shelby Warren and Ida Lee Barnett Wilson. She was united in marriage to Curtis M. Staggs on September 8, 1943 and he preceded her in death on August 24, 1994.
Mrs. Staggs was a homemaker.
Mrs. Staggs departed this life on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at Wayne County Nursing Home in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 90 Years, 5 Months, 15 Days.
She is survived by a son, Larry Curtis Staggs and wife, Jeanette of Iron City, TN; a daughter, Brenda Gail Moore of Waynesboro, TN; grandchildren, Michelle Brison Adams and husband, Tommy, Stephanie Staggs Arnett and husband, Darin; great-grandchildren, Kodi and Laken Arnett; sisters, Shelby Jean Smith and husband, Elzo of Cypress Inn, TN, Reba Nell Brown of Iron City, TN; nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Staggs was preceded in death by grandson, Marshall Brison; sisters, Sibyl Whitten, Dorothy Whitten, and Carmen Butler, an infant brother and an infant sister.
Services will be Thursday, February 14, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel, Collinwood, Tennessee, with Bobby Rich officiating. Burial will follow in the Railroad Cemetery, Iron City, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing. Pallbearers will be Kodi Arnett, Mike Whitten, Randy Whitten, Johnny Whitten, Rick Ethridge, and Paul Kelley.
