Wilma Louise Crowe

Wilma Louise Carroll Crowe was born April 9, 1934 in Chester County, TN the daughter of the late Willie Terry and Bertha Allean Melton Carroll. She attended schools in Chester County and graduated from CCHS. She worked as a patient aid at Jackson Madison County General Hospital and also as a waitress for many years. She moved to Meridian, Mississippi in 1972. She loved to crochet and enjoyed fishing. She attended the Christian Fellowship Methodist Church in Meridian, MS. Ms. Crowe departed this life on November 17, 2015 in Meridian, Mississippi at the age of 81 Years, 7 Months, 8 Days.

She is survived by her companion Glenard Wayne Percelle of Meridian, MS; a sister, Doris Matthews of Vinton, VA; and a grandchild, James Crowe.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Crowe was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathy Ann Moore; a son, James Robert Crowe; and two sisters, Hazel Carroll, Helen Frix.

Services will be held on Saturday November 21, 2015 at 12:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors-Johnson Chapel in Henderson, Tennessee, with Ken Kitchen officiating. Burial will follow in the New Friendship Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Johnson Chapel on Saturday, November 21, 2015 from 9:30 AM until 12:00 PM service time.
