WILMA JOSEPHINE FRESHOUR
was born in Waterloo, Alabama on September 20, 1930 the daughter of the late Marion Stanley and Valleree Joiner Scott.
On April 13, 1946 she was united in marriage to Lee Ander Freshour, who preceded his wife in death on September 11, 1971.
Mrs. Freshour grew up in the Walnut Grove Community then moved to Mishawaka, Indiana where she worked for Uniroyal Rubber Corporation for 30 years. After retirement she moved back to Savannah. Mrs. Freshour was a member of Bumpus Creek Freewill Baptist Church, United Rubber Workers Union and she was a member of a bowling league while living in Mishawaka. She enjoyed quilting, bowling, doing macramé and anything arts and crafts. Mrs. Freshour also enjoyed traveling with groups.
She departed this life on November 14, 2015 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 85 years, 1 month and 25 days.
Mrs. Freshour is survived by her children, Barbara Strombeck of Pueblo, Colorado, Shirley Lumley of Rye, Colorado, Roger Freshour of Elkhart, Indiana, Mary Sue Thayer of Rye, Colorado and Patty Owle of Savannah, Tennessee.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by two children, Robbie Nell Freshour and Wilma Lee Myers, one brother, Kenneth Garland Scott and one great grandchild, Heather Marie Thayer.
