Mrs. Hodge passed away Friday morning August 13, 2010 at Pine Meadows Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.
The widow of Herman Lindbergh Hodge, who died October 6, 1999 after 51 years of marriage, she was a custodial supervisor at Western Mental Health Institute for 17 years. Mrs. Hodge was born November 19, 1932 in Alcorn County, MS to the late Clester William Nelson and Rose E. Meeks Nelson and lived in Middleton since 1948. She was a member of Rocky Springs Baptist Church.
She is survived by a son, Larry Lynn Hodge of Walnut, MS; three sisters, Ilene Yager of Corinth, MS, Etha Dean Crum of Walnut, MS and Lillie Mae Miles of South Carolina; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, William Hugh Nelson.
