Mr. Vaughan passed away Sunday April 25, 2010 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
He was the son of the late Wilford Vaughan and Minnie Wooten Cooksey. He worked as the manager at Golden Circle Tire and worked various other jobs. Mr. Vaughan served in the National Guard.
Survivors include a sister, Carolyn Ferguson and her husband, O'Neal of Selmer; a sister-in-law, Mary Sue Cooksey of Bolivar; several nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a stepfather, Clarence Cooksey; a sister, Martha Cooksey; and two brothers, Larry Cooksey and William Edward Vaughan.
