Winfred Garland Tate

Winfred Garland Tate was born January 11, 1923 in Clifton, TN the son of the late Kemp and Virgie Bunch Tate.He was united in marriage to Dorothy Lomax in May 1946. Mrs. Tate preceded him in death on June 12\'th 2011.Mr. Tate was a car salesman. He was a member of the Culps Chapel Methodist Church in Clifton TN. and also a 32\'nd degree Master Mason.Mr. Tate departed this life on June 14, 2013 in Corinth, Mississippi at the age of 90 Years, 5 Months, 3 Days.He is survived by his daughter, Rita Ragan and husband Scotty of Corinth, MS; two grandchildren, Kelly Gray and special friend Rob, Kim Moffett; six great grandchildren Oakley Ragan, Saylor Gray, Alley Gray, Tate Rogers, Lennon Bush, and Greenlea Lipford, along with a sister, Lucille Warren of Clifton, TN.In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Tate was preceded in death by a brother, Clovis Tate; and a sister, Minnie Allen.
