Woodard C. Preslar

WOODARD C. PRESLARJackson, TN: Woodard Coolidge Preslar, age 86 passed away November 25, 2011 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.Mr. Preslar was born in Chester County, the New Friendship community, the son of the late Hershel and Lillie Burross Preslar. He went to school in Chester County and at Pinson. He married Ida White in 1945 and they made their home in Jackson most of their married life. Mr. Preslar worked in the packing and shipping department at American Olean Tile most of his working career. He was a member of the Rocky Springs Primitive Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Ida Marie ‘Pat’ White Preslar of Jackson.
