Wylomae Dodd

Wylomae Cummings Dodd was born June 9, 1926 in Wayne Co., TN, the daughter of the late Thomas and Laura Hill Cummings. She was united in marriage to Ellis Ross Dodd on March 9, 1946 and he preceded her in death on February 17, 1992.

Mrs. Dodd was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.

Mrs. Dodd departed this life on March 17, 2016 in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 89 Years, 9 Months, 8 Days and is survived by a son, Ellis Ray Dodd of Lutts, TN; daughters, Josephine Dickey of Lutts, TN and Nadine Armstrong of Loretto, TN; 3 Grandchildren, 2 Great-Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Dodd was preceded in death by a son, T. J. Dodd; a daughter, Dorothy Gresham; brothers, J. W., Reeder, J. T. and Hassell Cummings; sisters, Audrey Decker, Geneva Eaton, Mae Bell Moody, Myrtle Cummings and Anna Bell Wolf.

Services will be Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel, Collinwood, Tennessee, with Nolan Burns officiating. Burial will follow in the Susan Moore Cemetery, Lutts, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing.

Visitation will be Monday, March 21, 2016 from 6 pm to 9 pm and Tuesday, March 22, 2016 from 11 am until service time at the funeral home.
