Zachary Lane Edmondson was born at 9:25 am on March 30th, 2015 at Jackson General Hospital.
Zachary Lane was a very precious, sweet, loving baby boy, so vibrant and full of life and such a happy baby despite the pain he endured. He was such a fighter, so strong, immensely intelligent for his age. Nurses in the NICU would fight over who got to take care of him because he was such a good, happy and playful baby.
Zach was loved by anyone that came into contact with him. He had a bright aura that surrounded him that just drew people in. Zachary Lane was an inadvertent missionary that touched more lives in his short little life than we'll ever know. He touched people deep in the heart and soul, with his story and will to live. He was a miracle baby from the beginning, an angel on Earth that brought his parents closer together, as well as bringing an entire community back together.
Zachary Lane's pain and suffering ended on July 22nd en route to the ER. He died suddenly from complications due to a long term illness. Zach was a headstrong little man, and he chose to go on his own terms . Time and time again, he refused to die in the hospital. Instead, he left this Earth after finally being at home with his family, in the peaceful, loving arms of our God.
Zachary is survived by his mother, Ashley Morris of Middleton, and father, Lane Edmondson of Perry, Oklahoma; his brother, Elijah Andrew Morris; maternal grandparents, Phyllis Tranum, Travis Tranum, Lynn Morris and Karol Morris; maternal great-grandparents, Charlene Morris and Bobby Joe Morris; paternal grandparents, Jennifer Edmondson Gooch and Kevin Gooch; paternal great-grandparents, Rex Edmondson and Kay Gooch; aunts and uncles, Mackenzie Morris, Zach Parsons, Jessica Parsons, Temple Parsons Reed, AJ Tranum, Travis (Bubba) Tranum, Hannah Lowrance, Ashton Lowrance, Lyndsy Edmondson, Cheyenne Coffelt, Tray Coffelt, Kelby Edmondson, Kelly Edmondson and Brandon Mills; and cousins, Skylar Adams, Kaylie Grace, Eli and Ella Parsons, Devin and Ashton Reed, and Greyson Coleman.
