Zada Pugh

Zada Pughwas born in Wayne County, Tennessee on January 11, 1913 the daughter of the late James C. and Eula Webb Combs.She was united in marriage to Charles H. Pugh, who preceded her in death on May 13, 1983.Mrs. Pugh had also lived in Jacksonville, Florida and Hardin County, Tennessee. She was a member of the East End Methodist Church and was a Hospital Volunteer.Mrs. Pugh departed this life on Saturday, January 22, 2011 at the age of 98 years, 11 days.She is survived by 2 sons, Charles Robert Pugh of Houston, Texas and Michael Ray Pugh of Panama City, Florida; 8 grandchildren, Marva Johnson, Margie Bell, Marie Bedics, Marcus Roberts, Marty Telepo, Charles R. Pugh, Jr., Holly Conaway, and Jason M. Pugh; 14 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Charlene Roberts; a son, Joe Carmen Pugh; 3 sisters, Nora C. Stricklin, Lina C. White, and Maudie C. Boucher; 3 brothers, William Henry Combs, Henry D. Combs, and James R. Combs.
