Zella Lee Cummins

Zella Lee Brown Cummins of Collinwood, TN was born January 17, 1920 in Wayne Co., TN, the daughter of the late Thomas (Tom) and Ester Martin Brown. Ms Cummins had worked at By-Far Products in Collinwood, TN and was a member of the Collinwood Church of God. She departed this life on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 95 Years, 10 Months.

Ms Cummins is survived by a daughter, Marta Cummins of Collinwood, TN; a granddaughter, Delesea Burleson and husband, Ronnie; a grt-grandson, Thomas Burleson and wife, Samantha; a grt-grt-granddaughter, Maicee Burleson; a sister, Opal Brewer of Waynesboro, TN; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Ms Cummins was preceded in death by a daughter, Margaret Blalock; a granddaughter, Teresa Mathis; brothers, Ethridge, Eber, Clice, Elvin, Edward and Everett (Pete) Brown; sisters, Ada Brown, Velma Bryant, Delsea Cummins, Jewell Battles, Ava Erlene Brown and Elsie Brown and two unnamed infant sisters.

Services will be Thursday, November 19, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Collinwood Church of God, Collinwood, Tennessee, with Richard Bane officiating. Burial will follow in McGlamery Cemetery, Collinwood, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing. Pallbearers will be Kurt Holt, Kent Holt, Jimmy Holt, Jeff Roman, Nicholas Shane Brewer and Mark Damien Brewer.

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 18, 2015 from 6 pm to 9 pm and Thursday, November 19, 2015 from 9 am to service time at Collinwood Church of God, 205 1st Avenue, Collinwood, TN, 38450.
