Connie Jean Brown Smith

Connie Jean Brown Smith was born on March 3, 1967 in Hardin County, Tennessee, the daughter of Edward Lee Brown and the late Peggy Marie Smith Brown. On June 25, 2002, she was united in marriage to Lamar Kim Smith, who survives. Connie enjoyed doing crafts, including sewing and scrapbooking. She also loved cooking and baking. Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren. Connie Jean Brown Smith departed this life on Monday, February 7, 2022 in Corinth, Mississippi at the age of 54 years, 11 months, and 4 days. She is survived by her husband of 19 years, Lamar Kim Smith of Corinth, Mississippi; daughters, Amanda Starnes of Corinth, Mississippi and Melissa Strawn and her husband Bradley of Bath Springs, Tennessee; sons, Barry Smith and his wife Alicia of Batesville, Mississippi and Steven Melson and his wife Hannah of Ramer, Tennessee; father, Edward Lee Brown of Savannah, Tennessee; sisters, Janet Brown of Savannah, Tennessee and Cindy Miller and her husband J.R. of Savannah, Tennessee; and 10 grandchildren. In addition to her mother, Connie was preceded in death by an infant brother.
