Margaret Balentine Bryant, Waynesboro, TN

Margaret C. Balentine Bryant of Waynesboro, TN was born August 30, 1938 in Wayne County, TN, the daughter of the late Ellis and Ollie Berry Balentine. She was united in marriage to George Elton Harmon Bryant on September 30, 1961 and he preceded her in death on August 16, 2019. Mrs. Bryant was a retired seamstress with Angelica Corporation at Collinwood Manufacturing. She departed this life on Sunday, April 24, 2022 at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 83 Years, 7 Months and 25 Days. She is survived by sons, Terry Bryant and wife, Scarlett of Waynesboro, TN and Paul Bryant and wife, Deb of Collinwood, TN; stepsons, Elton Bryant and wife, Dianne of Nashville, TN and Curt Bryant and wife, Laura of Elkhart, IN; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; sisters, Sue Bogus and husband, Bobby and Mary Robinson and husband, Bobby all of Florence, AL. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Bryant was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Balentine. Services will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with John Heard officiating. Burial will follow in the Highland Methodist Church Cemetery, Lawrenceburg (Wayne County), Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County assisting the family. Pallbearers will be Terry, Paul, Curt, Clint, Cody and Elton Bryant.
